When you sell your house (or any piece of real estate), you want to show it to potential buyers in the best way possible. Street-level or yard-level photos are okay, but they often don’t show your property from the most flattering angle. You certainly don’t want to use an uninteresting photo from the county property tax website or Google Maps street view, when you now have the option of showing your property from the air. Aerial photos give the buyer a unique perspective on your property and can reveal features that may not be visible in a ground-based photo.
Realtors, it’s definitely in your best interest to show your clients’ properties as accurately and as favorable as possible. Are you really giving your client your best effort, by snapping a photo with your phone?
